British Columbia is often described as being the “best place on earth to live”.  Our local government has even coined the phrase to describe British Columbia to the world.  Though I was born in England, I have traveled extensively and I have researched retirement living all over the world.

I chose to  live in BC and will most certainly retire here.  I can attest to British Columbia as being the best possible place on earth to live.

As I approach retirement age I have been looking all over the world for a place to retire.  I researched Mexico, Arizona, Belize, Chile, Argentina, Floria, Nevada, California, and Costa Rica.

But each time I reviewed data that includes information on the political climate, the weather, the cost of living, the medical system, the level of violence or corruption in society, the availability of water and food, the languages spoken and so forth, I am drawn back to British Columbia.  There is simply nowhere on the planet as nice as this place.

From its golf courses, palm trees, orchards, wineries, cities, thousands of lakes, snow skiing, hiking, camping, or socio-political system – BC simply cannot be beaten.  Whatever you are looking for in retirement living, British Columbia has it.  Check out Retirement Communities in BC thoroughly before you make your final retirement decision.  You’ll be glad you did!
